Join us on Thursday, September 17 at 2:00 PM CT for an essential webinar covering best practices and standardized methods for measuring recycling data in Louisiana. Learn how local communities are improving data collection, navigating LDEQ reporting documents, and tracking material recovery rates to strengthen infrastructure.
Understand how better tracking can help parishes combat infrastructure challenges and boost local participation rates. Even if recycling services are currently not provided, tracking that statewide is also an important data point, especially with new funding opportunities possible.
Louisiana’s residential recycling capture rate is below 10%, ranking it among the lowest in the nation. State-level reports show an overall statewide recycling rate ranging between 2.9% and 9%, depending on the reporting year and the specific municipalities that provide solid waste data. We are confident that there is more recycling going on in the state that is not being accounted for and this webinar will help answer questions and demonstrate how this capture system makes data input easy for users.
