The Recycling Partnership’s Residential Curbside Recycling Cart Grant Program presents communities with the opportunity to apply for grant funding to convert bin or bag based curbside recycling programs to carts or to implement new cart-based curbside recycling programs. Applications for funding are accepted on an ongoing and continuous basis, and communities that receive funding for carts will also be offered financial and technical assistance in support of recycling education and outreach. More information including how to apply for grant funding is provided in our Request For Proposals. Click here for more information.
The Closed Loop Fund is accepting proposals to fund replicable and financially viable recycling infrastructure projects across three primary categories: collection, sortation, and processing/end markets. Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis. Click here for more information. |
HELP US MAKE MEASURABLE MOVES!"If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it" – Peter Drucker According to the statistics, Louisiana is last in the nation on its recycling efforts at a current 9% recycling rate. Out of the 303 municipalities in the state, only 24 currently report their solid waste and recycling data. Louisiana is in desperate need of standardizing the way in which solid waste and recycling data gets reported. This will provide key insights into tracking program performance and can be used to make more informed decisions.
Make a one-time or recurring donation to the Louisiana Recycling Coalition and help us in our efforts to implement data-driven recycling management across our state.
