August 21, 2024 The Louisiana Recycling Coalition and Keep Texas Beautiful are pleased to offer a FREE webinar for Municipal Solid Waste Professionals across the state of Louisiana. In this webinar, Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB) will share how its Keep Texas Recycling (KTR) program supports recycling in rural and underserved communities across the state by providing boots-on-the-ground technical assistance, access to recycling markets, grant opportunities, and educational support. In the last 30 years, Keep Texas Recycling community partners have recycled over 330 million pounds of material, generating over $12.3 million in revenue for these communities and saving 550,000 cubic yards of landfill space and over $5.8 million in landfill fees! The City of Plainview, Texas will share their experience as a successful recycling drop off program and current Partner in the Keep Texas Recycling network. |
